What is Calligraphy?

Literally, calligraphy is the art of beautiful writing. As long as there have been alphabets, individuals have taken those alphabets and given them an individualistic expression. Calligraphers produce work that ranges from designing and addressing wedding invitations to expressive, dynamic fine art work with lettering that may be nearly illegible. Scattered throughout our web site are many examples of this wide range of "beauty writing". Enjoy!
