In our continuing efforts to promote the art of calligraphy to the general public and to provide our members with the opportunity to share their artwork, MAC sponsors annual exhibitions of our member's work. We sponsor both juried (judged) exhibitions and non-juried exhibitions, which are held at various locations in the greater Detroit metropolitan area. All current members may submit work to either type of exhibition.

Juried exhibitions provide entrants with feedback about their calligraphic art, as they work to achieving and maintaining high standards in their work. Our jurors are local, national and internationally known calligraphers and artists. A mentor program has been established to pair first-time exhibitors with experienced participants to facilitate the process. Non-juried, or member's exhibitions allow MAC members to display their works without having their work judged by an outside party. MAC members may offer their work for sale at either type of exhibition.
