Michigan Association of Calligraphers sponsors several types of events related to the art of calligraphy.

MAC holds its General Meetings usually on the second Monday in March, May, September, and December. General Meetings offer you a chance to meet other members, get the "inside track" of the latest happenings, and enjoy a short but informative program about calligraphy or related topics. We have a social gathering followed by a brief business meeting and then an evening program. Past General Meetings have included diverse programs, such as a presentation and demonstration by the chief White House calligrapher, Pat Blair, a visit by representatives of a fine arts paper company and supplier, and an instructional presentation for making a miniature book in a box.

MAC also sponsors juried and non-juried exhibitions for our members. These are held once a year at various sites in southeastern Michigan.
